Morning all.....turns out I have sap to boil so I'm not available this morning to help with the lines. I have faith in you guys! If you run into trouble, please let me know. I can go to AUD after 2:00 to put lines down if you want to wait until then.....

RhondaC

Thanks for letting us know. Good luck with the boil!!

Donna

I messaged the Aud, lines can be put down on Tuesday, April 1. I may not be available as we are sugaring. Joel has the tape. I will try to be there, but if we have sap to boil I might not be available. You guys did great last time!

Donna

1:45 pm ..monday....Just got a text from Joel at the Aud....they've cleaned up from the weekend event so I'm assuming court is ready to be lined....if anyone is available!

Ivana

Sorry Donna, I got the message too late to rally the troops. Hopefully you will still be available tomorrow or we will do our best.
Thank you,
Ivana

I was told today by one of the employees of the Aud that tomorrow is the last day of pickleball this week . Guess the schedule has changed??

I just took a quick peek at City Calendar - Aud shows VT Principle Association Wrestling championships are in town, set up starting on Thursday through the weekend. Following week shows basketball tournaments all day, through the week.

Donna

Basketball will take up 2 weeks, Boys play this week, girls play the week after. And Town Meeting Day will have it closed also.

David

Hi Folks! My wife and I are visiting family in the area the week off 3/10. Would love to play at the Aud. I noticed this week is only adv beginner. We're 3.5 and 4.0. Will there be higher levels that week? Is the fee still $3.00

Donna

I believe the Aud is not available for pickleball on those dates due to basketball schedule.
.. . sorry,. GMCF is a fitness club close by with pickleball courts. I believe they have "visitor rates" but I'm not sure.

David

Thanks for the update! Too bad. We enjoyed the group at the Aud last year! GMCF does have a visitor rate. It's $20.00 per person and we can't come close to justifying $40 for 2 hours of pickleball. Seems fairly outrageous and I have let them know. Their monthly membership rate is reasonable but they apparently don't want visitors.

If there are any ideas out there for that week, it would be great. I already checked Montpelier Rec. They have 2 courts inside at the rec center on Barre St but they appear to get 15 - 20 people and it's only 1.5 hours! So that's not worth the effort.

I have two others coming, looking for a fourth!!
